WASHINGTON, Sept. 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) announced this year's Corporate Advocate of the Year Johnson & Johnson's Chief Procurement Officer for Medical Devices/Supplier Diversity, Ruben Taborda, at its 2013 USHCC National Convention in Chicago, IL.
The Corporate Advocate of the Year is awarded to an individual executive who demonstrates steadfast commitment to Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs), the nation's fastest growing minority entrepreneurial group. The business advocacy award particularly distinguishes those who work diligently to advance the USHCC's mission in support of its key constituents, understanding the importance of bringing together Hispanic businesses and local chambers, along with the corporate partner.
