Regardless of what happens on Capitol Hill over the next couple of weeks, Starbucks would continue to climb, Tim Seymour of EmergingMoney.com said Thursday.

"It is the great U.S. multinational growth story. What they're doing in China, to me, looks a lot like what Yum did," he said. "Most importantly, it's a margin-expansion story. They've gone from 15 percent EBITDA margin to 20. They're going to be 22 percent next year."

On CNBC's "Fast Money," Seymour said that favorable coffee prices would continue to be a tailwind for the retailer over the next two years.

While the stock trades at a price-to-earnings multiple above 30, Seymour wasn't concerned.

"This is a stock that should be earning a superior valuation, and it's growing. And their margin is growing. And their global story is growing," he said. "Yet the U.S. is their bread and butter, and I stay with this one."

StockMonster's Guy Adami turned to the auto space.

"BorgWarner's been a monster," he said.

Adami noted that the possibility of an engine-size tax in China, "which plays right into BorgWarner's bailiwick."

"I still think it has room to the upside, despite the fact that the valuation might be getting a little stretched here," Adami added.
