What would you ask President Barack Obama if you had the chance?

According to an online poll conducted Wednesday morning ahead of the president's 4 p.m. CNBC interview, America's number 1 question for Pres. Obama would be:

What are you willing to give up to re-open the government?

In addition to the poll, we took to Twitter to ask people what question they would put to the president, tagging their responses with the hashtag #AskObama.

Some people wanted to know about the president's health care law, the Affordable Care Act, AKA "Obamacare":

Others were more concerned with what the shutdown will do to the stock market:

Most people didn't take the (theoretical) opportunity to put a question to the president so seriously, though, like this basketball fan:
