Feast of Tabernacles Returns

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 24, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cornerstone Church invites the public to attend their annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration starting on Friday, October 25 for a weekend of fun, food & fellowship, ending with "A Night To Honor Israel" on Sunday, October 27.

The Feast of Tabernacles or "Sukkot" is known as the feast of the booths or temporary dwellings, when the Jewish males were required to go to Jerusalem. This event will remind Christians of their roots, the feasts and how they apply to the Believer. It is a celebration to be enjoyed by both Christians and Jews alike.

This special time of celebration will include a carnival style Midway of games with food booths and free rides in a family friendly atmosphere. Venture inside the church for praise and worship along with special guest speakers every evening.

Friday's events will be held from 5PM – Midnight, with special guest Dr. Creflo Dollar speaking at 7:30PM. Spend Saturday celebrating God's goodness from 11AM – Midnight, with guest speaker Pastor Paul Sheppard at 7:30PM. Then, plan to join Pastor John Hagee for services at 8:30AM & 11:00AM before hitting the midway all over again on Sunday.

As the Feast of Tabernacles wraps up Sunday evening, Cornerstone Church welcomes keynote speaker Mike Huckabee at 6:30PM, with a special musical performance by The Isaacs during "A Night To Honor Israel."

Be a part of this non-conversionary tribute to the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people of the world. Its purpose is to promote esteem and understanding between Christians and Jews and to emphasize that the things we hold in common are greater than the things we have allowed to separate us.

The Feast of Tabernacles and A Night to Honor Israel are FREE to attend! More information can be found by visiting sacornerstone.org, or by calling 210-490-1600.
