OLNEY, Md., Oct. 31, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., (Nasdaq:SASR), the parent company of Sandy Spring Bank, announced that the board of directors declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.18 per share payable November 20, 2013 to shareholders of record on November 13, 2013. This dividend represents an increase of $0.02 over the dividend paid in the third quarter of 2013 and $0.04 compared to the dividend paid in the fourth quarter of 2012.
