(Nasdaq:CHTP), a development stage pharmaceutical company focused on the acquisition, development and commercialization of innovative pharmaceutical products, announced today that it plans to offer shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. In connection with the offering, the Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of common stock offered in the public offering to cover over-allotments, if any.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to fund its droxidopa program, including regulatory and possible initial commercialization activity for NORTHERA™, and for general corporate purposes.
