NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Nov. 13, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Can't see your watch in the dark? The Isobrite line of watches, by ArmourLite, has eliminated this issue by offering T100 tritium illumination, the world's brightest. "It's important that our military, law enforcement and first responder customers be able to look down at their watch and be able to read the time as quickly as possible in the dark without their eyes having to adjust" explains Ashley Diener, ArmourLite's CEO.
ArmourLite is expanding its line of Isobrite watches with the introduction of the new Isobrite Valor Series. The Valor Series represents five new models in the Isobrite line of T100 tritium illuminated lightweight polycarbonate watches.
Three of the new models come with black polycarbonate cases with the choice of a metallic blue dial with blue, orange and green tritium markers (ISO301), a metallic orange dial with orange, blue and green tritium markers (ISO302) and a yellow dial with yellow and orange tritium markers (ISO303). The other two models feature a revolutionary new desert-tan polycarbonate case with a matching desert-tan silicone band and the choice of either a black dial (ISO304) or a tan dial (ISO305). Both feature green and orange tritium markers.
Isobrite watches offer the following features:
- Ultra bright T100 tritium illumination that's up to four times brighter than the leading T25 models
- Ultra lightweight polycarbonate case construction
- Ronda 715Li Swiss quartz movement with a 10-year lithium battery
- Anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal
- 200m water resistance rated for diving
- Unidirectional elapsed-time bezel with two tritium markers
- Durable and comfortable silicone band
- Zippered travel case with an extra nato band
The hands, number markers, and bezel on the Isobrite watches feature small, self-luminous tritium-filled vials. This safe and reliable permanent illumination technology allows the user to easily tell the time at a glance, even in the darkest lighting conditions. Tritium illumination is commonly used for the instrument dials in aircraft, compasses and night sights for weapons since it does not require a battery or external power supply and it remains constantly illuminated for 20+ years.
"The Isobrite is the nicest tritium dive watch I have ever owned and with a 10-year battery life and a precision quartz movement, it just can't be beat," explains Mike Pannone, a former operational member of U.S. Marine Reconnaissance, Army Special Forces and 1st SFOD-D (Delta). "I have a Luminox that used to appear bright until I got the Isobrite with T100 tritium illumination." Mike has put numerous watches to the test while participating in combat operations and high-risk protection in support of U.S. policies throughout the world as both an active duty military member, and a civilian contractor. Mike now trains vetted civilians, American and Allied military units, and State, Federal and local Law Enforcement agencies through his company CTT-Solutions (www.ctt-solutions.com).
ArmourLite revolutionized the watch industry as the first manufacturer to combine shatterproof glass construction with tritium illumination. In 2011, the company proudly introduced the Isobrite watch line, the world's brightest and lightest tritium illuminated watches featuring ultra bright T100 tritium and ultra lightweight polycarbonate construction. Designed to meet the demanding needs of law enforcement officers, military personnel, first responders and extreme outdoorsmen, ArmourLite and Isobrite watches provide the ultimate synthesis of accuracy, durability, and ease of use in all lighting conditions.
