SAN DIEGO, Nov. 13, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Public Safety & Security Division (PSS) recently received a $5.8 million contract award for the deployment of a specialized communication system at a large regional hospital facility and campus. Under the new contract award, PSS will design, engineer, deploy and integrate into command and control infrastructure a state of the art communication system. This award represents the initial phase of what is currently expected to be a multi-phased comprehensive communications system deployment. Due to customer specific and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
