ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini Offers Vision for Partner Success During IT Nation 2013 Keynote

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Yesterday, Arnie Bellini, CEO of ConnectWise, developer of the leading service management software designed exclusively for IT service providers, VARS, ISVs and MSPs, kicked off IT Nation 2013 with a keynote outlining his vision for partner success. Addressing more than 2,400 attendees at the sold-out event, Bellini highlighted the incredible opportunity for IT solution providers to be catalysts for unprecedented business productivity and profitability and, by doing so, reap the benefits of an estimated $3.8 trillion that will be spent on IT in 2014.

During his keynote, Bellini drew parallels to his recent swim across the English Channel, emphasizing the importance of making smart decisions and focusing on best practices. Bellini also highlighted ConnectWise innovations over the past year, including an initiative with CharTec and HTG, where ConnectWise created an entire series, the Path to Success Workbook, which was a collaborative educational initiative with partners that provides best practices across a variety of critical business areas. He also hinted at a new Dashboards feature, available in Q1 of 2014, which identifies more than 200 KPIs associated with success and brings them to the ConnectWise platform.

Bellini's address also touched on the increasing importance of mobile technologies, specifically how ConnectWise's mobile capabilities will bring speed and simplicity to salespeople and technicians in the field while giving managers insight into team benchmarks and performance. He also discussed future plans for the cloud, an exciting new focus on user-centricity and, due later this year, an announcement that partners will eventually be able to bill on a per-user basis, versus per-device, which will revolutionize the industry.

Held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, the ninth-annual IT Nation Partner Summit has become the largest event in the IT solution provider industry, offering attendees a best-in-class event platform to learn about transformative and innovative IT solutions and best practices.

IT Nation runs through November 15, with the majority of the event focusing on ways ConnectWise will continue to drive innovation for partners in 2014.
