PLEASANTON, Calif., Nov. 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Reterro, Inc., an emerging green remediation leader in eliminating hydrocarbon contamination from ongoing waste streams and soil, announced today that it has initiated its second hydro-carbon soil remediation project on behalf of a U.S. Fortune 500 company.
The project follows last week's announcement of the successful completion of Reterro's first project for the Fortune 5 customer. Both sites are located on the West Coast of the United States.
After the successful outcome of its first engagement, Reterro has been designated as prime contractor on the second project.
Reterro's second project is to remediate a site affected by solvents and other hydro-carbon contaminants. As was the case in the first project, Reterro's second engagement involves a site that includes space constraints and buildings in a populated area – the profile of a contaminated location that, as a practical matter, only Reterro can reach.
Reterro's green remediation technology is reducing in this specific project large truck traffic by 2,800,000 miles. Reterro's principle cleans the soil locally within minutes per ton and the clean soil is then locally backfilled and compacted to industrial build standards. "Reterro is gratified to have earned an additional engagement with one of the largest companies on earth," said Reterro Chief Executive Officer Ferdinand Seemann. "We look forward to achieving the same level of success: 100% environmental certainty."
This second project once again relies on The Reterro Principle™, Reterro's proprietary methodology, which features a small on-site footprint and flameless process that delivers immediate certainty in safe waste-stream and soil remediation. The methodology constitutes the quickest, most cost-effective, cleanest and most compliant route to preventing ongoing contamination and unlocking the greatest value in previously unusable contaminated sites.
Reterro, Inc., provides the foremost compliant and curative green remediation solution for tens of thousands of locations worldwide that are government-mandated to clean ongoing hydrocarbon waste streams and undergo soil remediation for existing hydrocarbon contaminated waste. Uniquely effective in urban, populated and space-constrained environments in which health and safety restrictions prohibit any other competing technologies, Reterro is unrivaled in mobility, cost-effectiveness and speed-to-completion, with a record of 100% certainty of efficacy.
