DALLAS, Dec. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF) announced today that Dr. Maya Angelou and Soledad O'Brien will headline an all-star bill at their 2014 Annual Leadership Development Conference, which will be held March 23-26, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. As a conference known for presenting some of the greatest thought leaders and industry trailblazers, the Annual Leadership Development Conference will have Dr. Angelou and Soledad O'Brien, as keynote speakers who will be sharing personal stories of triumph over adversity to inspire attendees.

Dr. Angelou is a celebrated poet, memoirist, educator, dramatist, producer, actress, historian, filmmaker and civil rights activist whose words and actions continue to stir souls. She has received numerous awards, over thirty honorary doctoral degrees and is a respected spokesperson for women. On Sunday evening, Dr. Angelou's keynote address will kick off the four-day Annual Leadership Development Conference.
Soledad O'Brien is a renowned documentarian, news anchor, journalist, educator and mentor. As founder and CEO of Starfish Media Group, O'Brien dedicates her time to uncovering and producing empowering stories that are often overlooked in the mainstream media.
