Chart of the Day: Which costs more, snow or insomnia?

Millions of Americans might miss work Tuesday because of a snow storm expected to dump up to six inches of snow across the northeastern United States.

But as much of a hassle as snow removal is, what's more costly to employers?

Snow removal may cost a couple billion dollars a year, but even fantasy football is a lot more expensive for employers—as are the flu and insomnia, among other things.

(Note that the snow removal cost does not factor in the costs of lost productivity from snow, which turns out to be incredibly hard for economists to estimate).
