Targeting children ages 2 and up, the app offers a variety of fundamental letter recognition exercises and activities. Young readers will enjoy the opportunity to engage with twenty-six animal animations each representing a letter of the alphabet. In addition to simple letter recognition, users will explore the relationships between letters and the sounds they represent and to create charming 26-part "tunes" using an immersive Animal Alphabet Singers musical keyboard.

The Animal Alphabet Singers is a carefully calibrated educational experience that brings to life the core "letter knowledge" fundamentals recognized by the National Reading Panel. Collaboration with noted cognitive learning expert, Dr. Marilyn Jager Adams, PhD, ensured that Animal Alphabet interaction will not only introduce young users to the letters of the alphabet, but will also help children recognize the differences between upper and lower case letter forms. The app activities are programmed with carefully gauged response timings, ensuring that young children will grasp and remember the fundamentals of letter knowledge.

Brian Kohn, CEO and President Think Smart Games, Inc., notes, "We wanted to work with the leading thinkers and producers in the children's education and entertainment sector to bring the building blocks of early reading success alive for children and their parents and teachers. The experience Chris, Jane and Marilyn bring to the realization of The Animal Alphabet Singers guarantees that it will captivate emergent readers while ensuring that the fundamentals of letter recognition are firmly established to enable a lifetime of reading enjoyment and comprehension."

App Activities:

Meet the Letters – A colorful A, B, C keypad introducing each letter and its animal counterpart: "A, Alligator", "B, Bear", "C, Cat" and so forth.

Meet the Animals! – A letter-based carousel relating the Animal Alphabet Singers to their corresponding letters. As soon as a letter is chosen, the animal that begins with that letter appears and talks directly to the child. Tap on any animals and you'll see an animated movie revealing some fascinating facts about it.

Guess the Animals and Letters! – Users are invited to select the correct first letter of the featured animal name. Correct responses are rewarded with a jolly animal greeting.

The Animal Alphabet Singers – Users are invited to tap an animal or letter. Whenever they do, the appropriate animal character will sing a response that will help kids develop their letter recognition skills.
