Chinese web traffic redirected to small US company

China's internet was seriously disrupted for more than an hour, with an estimated two-thirds of the country's traffic being redirected to a small U.S. company's servers.

The company, Dynamic Internet Technology, provides a service designed to let users in China see websites that are blocked by the government.

It said it was not responsible for the disruption.
