NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Icahn Enterprises L.P. ("Icahn Enterprises") (Nasdaq:IEP), together with Icahn Enterprises Finance Corp., announced today that they have consummated their offering of $1.35 billion in aggregate principal amount of their 5.875% Senior Notes due 2022. The notes were sold in a private offering to qualified institutional buyers as defined in Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), and non-U.S. persons outside the United States under Regulation S under the Securities Act.
The proceeds from the offering will be used for general partnership purposes.
