FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) has opened a new integration facility in Charleston, South Carolina, to develop advanced solutions for defense and homeland security applications. The 12,000-square-foot facility features a software lab, team collaboration work spaces, conference rooms, demonstration areas, and a high-bay for vehicle and C4I integration efforts.

Some of the many activities planned for the facility include Agile software development; electro-optical, seismic, thermal, and motion sensor data fusion and database development; tactical vehicle command and control systems analysis, 3-D modeling, and design; information technology and network design, prototype, integration, and testing; and government off-site hosting, including service desk support operations. The site also hosts intern and cooperative programs with and for local organizations.

"We are very excited about the opening of our new facility," said Dan Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech's Mission Solutions & Services Group.
