Johnson Outdoors Inc. Annual Shareholder Meeting

RACINE, Wis., Feb. 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Johnson Outdoors Inc. (Nasdaq:JOUT), a leading global outdoor recreation equipment company, will hold its annual shareholder meeting on February 26, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time at the Company's global headquarters, located at 555 Main Street in Racine, Wisconsin. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

At the meeting, shareholders will: 1) elect directors for the coming year, 2) ratify the appointment of independent auditors, 3) advise on executive compensation and 4) ratify and approve the Company's worldwide key executives' discretionary bonus plan. Items two and three are non-binding votes.

All shareholders of record as of December 19, 2013 are eligible to vote upon these matters, and will find information pertinent to the items in the Company's Annual Meeting proxy statement mailed to shareholders on or about January 13, 2014 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 13, 2014. After completion of voting, management will then discuss marketplace conditions and the Company's strategies for sustained profitable growth.
