With more than 280 locations throughout the United States and Canada, the company opened 12 new franchises in 2013 with three in development. According to the 2011 Findings Report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, annual spending on bird food and wildlife feed increased from $4 to $5 billion from the 2006 report. Annual spending on bird feeders, bird baths and nesting boxes have also increased, from $780 to $969 million.
