Hill International Announces 26 Executive Promotions and New Hires

MARLTON, N.J., Feb. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today the promotions and hiring of 26 executives to the positions of Senior Vice President and Vice President throughout the company.

José Manuel Albaladejo Cañedo-Arguelles, of Hill's Mexico City, Mexico office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of Latin American operations for the company's Project Management Group. Albaladejo has more than 15 years of experience in project and construction management participating in infrastructure and construction projects throughout Spain and Latin America. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Purdue University and an M.S. in construction management from the University of Reading, and an M.B.A. from the University of Navarra's IESE Business School.

Geoffrey J. Bewsey, of Hill's London, United Kingdom office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. With more than 37 years of experience in construction and engineering, working in design, contracting, and consultancy, Bewsey is an expert on project planning and on delay and disruption analysis for major construction and engineering claims and disputes. He holds a B.Sc. in civil engineering from Polytechnic of Central London.

Stephen C. Briggs, FCIArb, of Hill's London, United Kingdom office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Briggs has more than 28 years of experience in the construction industry and has worked on transportation, manufacturing, industrial, residential, commercial, marine, healthcare, petroleum, power and military projects throughout the world. He holds a Diploma in arbitration from the University of Reading. Briggs is both a Fellow and an accredited mediator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the Society of Construction Law and a member of the Academy of Experts.

Robert A. Dieterle, CCP, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Dieterle has more than 39 years of experience and is an internationally-recognized expert on cost and liability analysis, damage calculations, contract audits and negotiations and estimate evaluations on major construction claims and disputes. He holds a B.S. in technology from Spring Garden College and an M.B.A. in finance from LaSalle University, and he is a Certified Cost Professional.

Benjamin Highfield, CEng, FCIArb, of Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Highfield has more than 15 years of experience with expertise in claims and delay analysis, contract administration, civil engineering and arbitration. He holds a B.Sc. in civil engineering from the University of Manchester, and he is a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Michael S. Luciani, P.E., of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Project Management Group. Luciani has over 26 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He holds a B.M.E. in mechanical engineering and an M.B.A., both from Villanova University, and he is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.

Wendy MacLaughlin, CEng, of Hill's Brisbane, Australia office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry having worked in civil engineering design, project planning and in the analysis of delay and disruption to construction and engineering projects globally. She holds a B.E. in civil engineering from the University of Queensland, an M.Sc. in project management from the University of Reading and an M.Sc. in construction law and arbitration from King's College London. MacLaughlin is a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom, a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a member of the Society of Construction Law.

Christopher Pedersen, FRICS, FCIArb, of Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Pedersen has more than 35 years of experience with expertise in claims analysis, arbitration, contract administration, surveying and procurement. He holds a B.Sc. in quantity surveying from Kingston Polytechnic and an M.Sc. in arbitration and dispute resolution practice from Kingston University. He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

L. Adam Winegard, of Hill's Los Angeles, California office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Winegard has more than 25 years of experience providing qualitative and quantitative risk assessment and analysis, management, marketing, business development and contract administration in the construction and insurance industries. He holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.A. from American University.

Fouad Al Momen, Ph.D., of Hill's Baghdad, Iraq office, has been promoted to Vice President in the company's Project Management Group. Al Momen has more than 30 years of experience providing engineering and construction management services to infrastructure owners throughout the world. He holds a B.Sc. in civil engineering from the University of Basra, an M.Sc. in project management from the University of Wales and a Ph.D. in environmental engineering from Cardiff University.

Edward J. Baliton, MCP, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Information Technology Department. Baliton has more than 16 years of experience in information technology. Baliton has taken coursework at Rutgers University and he is a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Hector D. Davila, P.E., of Hill's Ontario, California office, has joined the firm as Vice President in the company's Project Management Group. Davila has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry focused on transportation projects. Prior to joining Hill, he was a Principal Transportation Engineer with the California Department of Transportation. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona and he is a registered Professional Engineer in California.

James P. Donnelly, of Hill's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Project Management Group. Donnelly has more than 26 years of experience in managing design and construction of new and rehabilitation projects, providing his expertise in planning, design, construction inspection, estimating and engineering for hundreds of projects including aviation, institutional, commercial and municipal facilities. He holds a B.S. in marketing from Cabrini College.

Thomas Everritt, PMP, CM-BIM, of Hill's Atlanta, Georgia office, has been promoted to Vice President of Project Management Systems with the company's Information Technology Department. Everritt has more than 15 years of experience in information technology with expertise in project management, planning, critical path method (CPM) scheduling and management consulting. He holds an A.S. in electronics engineering technology from Gulf Coast Community College, a B.S. in business and management from the University of Maryland and an M.S in computer information systems from Georgia State University. He is a Project Management Professional and a Certified Manager of Building Information Modeling.

Guillermo Fernandez de Mazarambroz Arespacochaga, of Hill's Mexico City, Mexico office, has been promoted to Vice President in the company's Project Management Group. He has more than 10 years of experience in the project management industry. He holds a Diploma in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Wayne J. Germscheid, P.E., of Hill's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Project Management Group. Germscheid has more than 32 years of engineering and construction management experience on transportation projects. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Drexel University and he is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Reky C. Hiramoto, P.E., of Hill's Irvine, California office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Project Management Group. Hiramoto has more than 18 years of experience in construction management, design management, land acquisition and development analysis, engineering and project management for light rail transit, housing developments and educational facilities development. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona and he is a registered Professional Engineer in California.

James A. McCarthy, of Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. McCarthy has more than 50 years of experience in the construction industry. His areas of expertise include contract interpretation and advice, claims preparation and defense, mediation, adjudication, arbitration, expert witness, expert determination, risk assessment and project auditing.

Timothy P. McGoldrick, FRICS, FCIArb, of Hill's Daresbury, United Kingdom office, has been promoted to Vice President and Managing Director, as well as Head of Expert Witness Services, for the company's Construction Claims Group. McGoldrick has more than 30 years of experience as an accredited mediator and has worked on a broad range of industrial and engineering projects in the United Kingdom and overseas, providing services to employers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants. He holds a B.Sc. in quantity surveying from the Open University and he is a Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Alistair S. Mein, of Hill's Sydney, Australia office, has been promoted to Vice President in the company's Construction Claims Group. Mein has more than 16 years of experience with expertise in project management, management consulting, and urban and regional planning. He holds a B.S. in applied economic geography from the University of New South Wales and an M.P.D. in property development from the University of Technology Sydney.

Brian C. Meyrick, of Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Meyrick has more than 48 years of experience in the construction industry, over half of which has been in the Middle East and the Far East. He holds a Higher National Certificate in building from Bridgend Technical College.

Keith W. Pearson, PHR, of Hill's Athens, Greece office, has joined the firm as Vice President with the company's Human Resources Department. Pearson has more than 25 years of experience in recruiting and human resources. Prior to joining Hill, he was Director of Human Resources for WHKS & Co. He holds a B.A. from Western Illinois University and he is a certified Professional in Human Resources.

Bankim H. Sheth, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Program Management with the company's Information Technology Department. Sheth has more than 30 years of experience as a director and solution data architect and developer for large warehouses, data marts and application design projects. He holds a Diploma in marketing and management from the Morse School of Business and a certification in computer programming from the University of Hartford.

Jeffrey Sujar Blanco, of Hill's Madrid, Spain office, has been promoted to Vice President in the company's Project Management Group. Sujar has more than 17 years of professional experience, mostly in the field of project and development management. He holds an M.Sc. in civil engineering (Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) from the University of Granada.

William E. Trembath, ACA, of Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance for the company's Middle East Region. Trembath has more than 17 years of finance experience working in both senior financial positions and for professional service firms. He has a B.Sc. in economics and politics from the University of Bristol and he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Dafydd Wyn Owen, of Hill's Sydney, Australia office, has been promoted to Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Wyn Owen has more than 17 years of experience in the management consulting, transportation and construction sectors. He holds a B.E. in civil engineering from Oxford Brookes University.
