Playa Hotels & Resorts Names Francisco J. Silva General Manager for the New Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. and LOS CABOS, Mexico, March 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alex Stadlin, Chief Executive Officer, Playa Resorts Management ("Playa") today announced the appointment of Francisco J. Silva as General Manager for the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. Mr. Silva joins Playa from Villa del Arco Resort & Spa in Los Cabos.

The new Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos opened this past November and has already been recognized as a AAA Four Diamond Resort. Located beachfront on the spectacular Sea of Cortes in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is the premier Hyatt-branded all-inclusive resort. Mr. Silva brings more than 30 years of hospitality industry management experience to his new position. Throughout his significant career he has also served as General Manager for such high profile resorts as the Westin Playa Bonita Resort & Spa, Panama; Dreams Los Cabos; and Casa del Mar Golf & Spa Resort, Los Cabos, Baja California, Mexico.
