USHCC Congratulates Marcos Ronquillo on Joining the Smithsonian Latino Center's National Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, March 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) proudly congratulates Marcos Ronquillo (J.D.), Managing Partner at Beirne, Maynard & Parsons, L.L.P., on his new appointment to the Smithsonian Latino Center's (SLC) National Board of Directors. Ronquillo joins a diverse board of corporate executives, national leaders, and prominent philanthropists responsible for advising the SLC and collectively exploring innovative ways to promote Latino culture and history. Ronquillo, the former Chairman of the Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, brings more than 30 years of legal expertise in both the public and private sectors to his new appointment.

Ronquillo was the former President of the Dallas Mexican American Bar Association, and has received numerous recognitions for his many years of service, including the National Spirit of Excellence Award by the American Bar Association. Prior to serving on the SLC's National Board, Ronquillo served as a member of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority and the Children's Medical Center. He received his law degree from George Washington University, National Law Center in Washington, D.C. after graduating from the University of Notre Dame.
