CLEVELAND, Ga., March 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With so much rain this winter, Cabbage Patch Kids are looking forward to Spring Blooms in the Cabbage Patch and invite you to come to the 26th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 12th, 2014,on 650 acres in the Georgia Mountains.
Enjoy an early Breakfast or Cupcakes and Carrots with the Easter Bunny in this idealic mountain community. In addition to the arts, crafts, rides and food vendors, the Cupcakes and Carrots offer a chance for visitors to get a welcome break in the beautiful Magic Crystal Ballroom, where the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures.
The hospital staff has a day of activities planned for you and the 'Kids in their 70,000 sq. foot, ante bellum home from breakfast with the Easter Bunny, to an arts and crafts festival, dancing with Cabbage Patch Kid costume characters, hourly prize drawings, and a free Easter Egg hunt on the grounds of BabyLand General Hospital with 28,000 eggs at 2 p.m. The day's festivities also include an Easter Parade at 11 a.m. through the town square in Cleveland.
Make a stylish Spring Bonnet or a fun, creative masterpiece and enter the Cabbage Patch Kid's Easter Bonnet contest at 3p.m. Everyone is encouraged to make a little Easter Bonnet for their Cabbage Patch Kid. The adoptable babies, whose roots stem from the arts, understand the energy, excitement and satisfaction of creating something for those you love. There will be one category for children and one for adults with judging by those attending.
