NEW YORK, March 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orchid Island Capital, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE MKT:ORC) announced today the pricing of its public offering of 3,200,000 shares of common stock at $12.55 per share. The offering is expected to close on March 24, 2014. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 480,000 shares of common stock on the same terms and conditions to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares in the public offering are being offered by the Company.
Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT:LTS), is the book running manager for the offering.
