Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Monday:
Sonic - The operator of drive-in restaurants reported second-quarter earnings per share of 7 cents, excluding items, versus estimates of EPS of 6 cents. Sonic also repurchased about $51 million of stock during the quarter. Its shares jumped in after-hours trading.
Apple - The tech giant is reportedly working with Comcast to provide a streaming service that would use an Apple set-top box. Shares of Apple edged higher in after-hours trade.
Box - The online storage company late Monday filed for a $250 million public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. Its ticker will be BOX.
