Oldest bicycle maker in America keeps crankin'

Quick. Can you name America's oldest bicycle brand? If you guessed Schwinn, Trek or Cannondale, you'd be wrong as none of those are manufactured in the U.S.

That honor goes to Worksman Industrial Cyclesthe oldest, large-scale bike maker in America, reports. The bike shop is housed in a 70-year-old, three-story factory in the Queens borough of New York City. Worksman has been making bikes in New York since 1898.
