WASHINGTON, March 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) is proud to honor U.S. Senator John McCain with the the 2014 "Lifetime Achievement Award." The award will be presented at the USHCC's 2014 Legislative Summit closing gala on March 27th at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, D.C. Each year, the award commemorates the accomplishments of a national leader who has devoted their life's work to serving our nation's best interests. Previous recipients of this award include former U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and U.S. Congressman Xavier Becerra.

"Senator McCain is an exemplary national leader and a tireless ally to America's Hispanic business community. His legacy is measured by pure character and effective action. The USHCC is proud to present this honor to Senator John McCain, an American hero, model public servant and true statesman," said USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez.
