After a year of construction and financial setbacks that kept the landmark restaurant in New York City's Central Park in limbo, Tavern on the Green is re-opening April 24, Crain's reports.
The restaurant, which has been shuttered since January 2010, will start serving a preview dinner menu later this month. Brunch will launch on May 10, Mother's Day weekend, according to Crain's.
A $20 million renovation is a joint project between Tavern on the Green's restaurateurs—who are responsible for the interior—and the city, which is completing the exterior work.
