Apple and Samsung are back in court in California.
The Cupertino giant is looking for a 2 BILLION dollar compensation from Samsung for mimicking the iPhone.
Samsung however, is crying foul.
The Korean electronics maker saying that Apple is merely seeking to make up for losing its lead in the smartphone market.
Meanwhile - The Nikkei daily is reporting that Apple could buy a unit that makes chips for Smartphone displays.
The Cupertino giant reportedly has its eye on Renesas SP Drivers, a joint venture with Sharp.
Renesas has 55% percent in the venture.
The company's shares surging past 10 percent on its highs.. and closed 6% higher at the end of trade.
