SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cogswell College, one of the world's leading regionally-accredited institutions offering a unique curriculum that fuses digital arts, engineering and entrepreneurship, is holding an Open House on Saturday, April 19, 2014, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at its Sunnyvale campus.
Cogswell's unique project-based learning programs such as Game Studio, MediaWorks, Studio E and Project X put students in the middle of real-world projects, working with actual industry clients, that teach them a team-centered approach that mirrors real development teams of artists, engineer, animators, game designers, audio specialists and management.

Cogswell student animation films have won dozens of festival awards, audio students have won the MTV/ACT award for music videos and software engineering students have worked with a top mobile carrier on an exciting new project.
The Open House will provide an opportunity to tour Cogswell's dynamic campus and learn more about its programs. Attendees will be able to visit with some of the school's outstanding students, watch award-winning computer-animated short films, talk to an admissions representative and get answers to financial aid questions.
