Twice a year, in the fall and spring semesters, Solutionreach will hold an essay contest to award a $2000 scholarship to one undergraduate to put towards his or her tuition and fees, for a total of $4000 in awards each year. "Solutionreach believes in the ripple effect: that helping even one person has the potential of helping many people. In our company we say, 'Everyone succeeds when one of us succeeds," says Kelly Morris, VP of Marketing at Solutionreach. "If we can improve someone's life by offering a scholarship, we are contributing to the good things their success may bring to the community. We develop technology that helps healthcare practitioners improve patient-centered care. Each applicant has the opportunity to aid us in our goal to make a difference for healthcare."
To be eligible, the applicant must attend an accredited college or university in the United States and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0. They must be taking a minimum of 9 credits to apply.
To apply, students must write an essay about how communication technology will improve patient centered care in the coming years and why it is critical for the future of healthcare. Applicants must also include a signed contribution agreement and a brief bio with their application.
Solutionreach believes in the big benefits of small acts, and this scholarship to help students contribute to their communities is an extension of that belief.
Nearly 15 years ago, Solutionreach became one of the first cloud-based companies with their patient messaging system, Smile Reminder. Since then they have expanded the number of services and customers they serve. They develop and provide technology that helps healthcare practitioners in the medical, dental and vision fields improve care by increasing patient engagement, communication, and education.
