Is Yahoo's brain drain finally slowing?

Despite all the hand-wringing over problems at Yahoo—including slow growth and supposedly poor executive decisions—there's at least one positive sign: Fewer employees are looking for other jobs.

Qz reported that so-called outbound applications at Yahoo have fallen 44 percent since Marissa Mayer took over as CEO. The report cites recruiting software company Jobvite for the statistic.

For sure, that stat isn't the final word (Jobvite doesn't measure all employment activity at the company) but it is surely telling.

By contrast, outbound applications were up 63 percent since Tim Cook took over at Apple, said the report.
