Cloud storage company Dropbox recently corrected a bug that allowed potentially sensitive data to leak to the Internet at large, reported the BBC.
The problem was first discovered by a competitor—Intralinks—which claimed it was able to access data such as mortgage records.
The problem was the result of a sharing function, which Dropbox says has now been fixed.
