Tech Data Focuses on Enablement Through Core and BOOST Programs Offered Exclusively to Cisco Partners

CLEARWATER, Fla., May 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD) today announced the addition of Core and building on our strategic teams (BOOST) programs to Momentum, Tech Data's exclusive, award-winning education and enablement tool, providing trainings and programs for Cisco resellers. Core and BOOST impart initial Cisco partner trainings and personalized post-specialization enablement through the company's Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) division. The announcement was made in conjunction with Tech Data's TechSelect Partner Conference, taking place this week at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida.

Core programs, custom-built for newly-authorized Cisco partners, offer a comprehensive training platform including a series of 30-minute webinars. Each webinar is focused on a specific topic that falls into one of the five Core pillars: Cisco 101, Partnering with Cisco, CCW Platform, Programs and Promotions, and Cisco Services. Available to all Cisco partners within Tech Data's channel of solution providers, these pillars are designed to cover important and valuable information to help solution providers grow their Cisco practice.

BOOST, custom-built for Cisco partners with post-specializations, includes resources in four main pillars: Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Services. Solution providers authorized by Cisco can leverage valuable consultation services, case studies, business transformation workshops, industry experts, personalized sales enablement trainings, demand generation tools and mobility applications to advance staff knowledge and performance.
