Myriad Strengthens Commitment to Cancer Research at the ASCO 50th Annual Meeting

(Nasdaq:MYGN) today announced that results from 11 clinical studies with its molecular diagnostic tests will be featured at the 2014 American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting to be held May 30-June 3, 2014 in Chicago, Ill. The molecular diagnostic tests being highlighted at ASCO address four key areas of focus for Myriad including hereditary cancer, melanoma, companion diagnostics and prostate cancer. There will be presentations on six new key studies on the Myriad myRisk™ Hereditary Cancer test, including two podium presentations; two presentations on the Myriad myPath™ Melanoma test, including the first pivotal clinical validation study; and the presentation of new clinical data on the HRD companion diagnostic in patients with metastatic triple negative breast cancer.
