EMERYVILLE, Calif., May 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CEP America, one of the nation's leading providers of hospital-based physician management solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its partnership with Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Ore. After successfully staffing the emergency department (ED) for five years, hospital administrators selected CEP America to begin managing and staffing the inpatient department effective May 15.
This is CEP America's first hospitalist contract in the state of Oregon.
"Our continued success with CEP America in the emergency department made them the logical choice when we began looking for a physician group to partner with in the inpatient department," stated Kelly Morgan, Mercy Medical Center CEO. "By essentially having one team of physicians – emergency physicians and hospitalists – our patients will continue to receive high-quality care, that is now more integrated during their stay."
