Beyond rising rent, more customers prefer craft beers and healthy food choices, forcing more pubs to become a wee bit less Irish to stay afloat, Crain's reports. Guinness, Jameson and shepherd's pie just don't cut it anymore to compete in New York City's crowded food scene.
Peek inside the menu of some of the city's most successful Irish pubs and you're likely to find tuna burgers and wasabi aioli on the menu.
