Even Starbucks' most avid fans haven't seen the likes of the Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino.
Consumerist reported that the 128-ounce concoction, complete with 60 espresso shots and a cocktail of sweet flavors, cost $54.75, making it the most expensive single drink ever made at Starbucks to Consumerist's knowledge.

Despite the high price tag, the customer who ordered it paid nothing. The customer, who goes by Andrew on Twitter, used a free drink earned from the company's loyalty program to pay for it.
The drink contained espresso, vanilla bean and mocha flavors, whipped cream and a variety of drizzles. Taste was crucial, he told Consumerist in an email, because the previous record holder, whose drink cost $47.30, threw in a mish-mash of flavors to raise the cost.
"I gotta say, it was delicious," he told Consumerist.
Consumerist estimated that each espresso shot contains about 75 milligrams of caffeine, which would mean Andrew's monstrosity contained roughly 4.5 grams—a little less than half of what it takes to cause an adult to overdose, Consumerist reported. Andrew drank only a third of his drink in the first sitting, saving the rest for later.
Starbucks fans shouldn't set their hearts on topping the new record, though. The company says this particular drink was a one-off.
"We want to ensure our customers receive the highest quality and most delicious tasting food and beverage products from us. And, we don't believe that this particular beverage choice was reflective of that," a Starbucks spokeswoman said in an email. "We offer Frappuccino beverages in tall, grande and venti sizes only, so this size offering was contrary to our standards in place."
