JOHNSTOWN, Pa., May 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) has been named one of 74 awardees on the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA's) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract. OASIS is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), multibillion dollar, multiple award contract that includes a five-year base term and one five-year option. OASIS will provide federal agencies with flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services.

"CTC is excited to announce that we are an awardee on the long-awaited OASIS contract," said Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., CTC President & Chief Executive Officer. "The OASIS contract will function as an acquisition vehicle that gives federal agencies an integrated tool to acquire professional services, reducing duplicative contracting efforts and reducing costs and acquisition times. CTC looks forward to competing for task orders under this new contract."

OASIS is a government-wide acquisition contract that includes the core disciplines of program management services, management consulting services, logistics services, engineering services, scientific services, and financial services. The Air Force has already signed an agreement with GSA to use the OASIS contract for professional services, and other government agencies see OASIS as the solution of choice.

Susan Dadey, CTC Executive Director, serves as Program Manager on the contract. "It was a long time in coming, but winning this highly competitive award is a testament to CTC's past performance, technical achievements and teamwork. As a result, CTC stands ready to take advantage of the extensive opportunities OASIS provides our highly qualified staff to support our Federal clients with diverse and innovative solutions across the breadth of our technical capabilities."
