SHREWSBURY, N.J., June 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterCloud Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ICLD) announced today the award of a $4.9 Million distributed antenna system (DAS) project in downtown Chicago. This multi-phase enterprise DAS project will begin in June 2014, with anticipated completion by year-end 2014.
"This new contract award provides confirmation of the explosive growth of mobility and network expansion within both the enterprise and service provider markets. Enterprise and service provider IT organizations struggle to meet the demands of global growth in hand held devices and the impact it has on their existing IT network infrastructure. We expect to see continued opportunities for our organization in WiFi, DAS and small cell network expansion over the next several years as the world continues to experience the impact of the "consumerization of IT"," stated Mark Munro, CEO of InterCloud. "We've positioned InterCloud as a leading single source provider of IT solutions, and we're scaling the organization efficiently to meet what we believe is strong, growing demand."
