Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein has no plans to step down.

"I would say that my job, when things are going well, there's nothing more fun and I can never imagine leaving it. When things are going badly, my sense of responsibility takes over, and I couldn't imagine leaving it," Blankfein said Tuesday in an interview with Bloomberg TV.

"It's a very hard thing to do. I either love what I do because it gives me a lot of exposure to great people and influence, and when things are bad my sense of—my obligations take over," the 59-year-old Blankfein added in response to the question "What motivates you right now?"
