US Midwest business index dips in June

The pace of business activity in the U.S. Midwest in June dipped from a seven-month high, though the decline was bigger than had been expected, a report showed on Monday.

The Institute for Supply Management-Chicago business barometer fell to 62.6 from 65.5 in May, which had been the strongest for the index since October 2013. Economists were looking for a reading of 63 in June.
