'Pay it Forward' National Online Solution TrikleTrade Launches Indiegogo Campaign

LOS ANGELES, July 1, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TrikleTrade (www.trikletrade.com), a free online platform that gives individuals, organizations and businesses the ability to ask for assistance as well as find, connect and donate goods and services to those in need, announces the launch of its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/trikletrade-com-a-national-pay-it-forward-online-solution.

The TrikleTrade mission originates from the experiences that co-founder, Syann Stevens, had while undergoing some personal hardships and being impacted by even the smallest acts of generosity. Taking those experiences, she made it her passion to pay it forward by creating a collaborative environment for people to provide and find the goods and services they need to create a better, more fulfilling life for themselves and others.

TrikleTrade launched in June of 2012, its goal is to strengthen community fellowship as part of a growing shared economy, from everyday needs to times of major disasters on a local to national scale. This can be as simple as finding an organization that needs soccer equipment for kids and donating everything your children have outgrown, to helping build houses or participating in a community arts program. Once a member has received the help they have requested, they are asked to return to the site and "pay it forward" by doing a good deed for someone else as repayment.

"We are so excited to be launching our first crowdfunding campaign with Indiegogo," said Stevens. "Our site has already created hundreds of opportunities for our members to give goods and services to those in need; including being the conduit of many successful stories between individuals and organizations. One such story is that of an after school organization paying it forward by donating handmade blankets to a children's shelter in their town. They found out about each other's needs through our site, and that's pretty amazing. This campaign will allow us to expand our efforts and provide more community outreach events and solutions for those looking to pay it forward."

Contributions to the Indiegogo campaign will be used to make improvements to enhance the website, create a phone app, market the site to new members, organizations and businesses, and fund community outreach and events. On top of that, 5% of contributions will be donated to a charity of their choice.

Stevens continues, "Reaching our goal would let us do so much to help the community and give us the opportunity to help others pay it forward. We are on a good path, but we have a ways to go and we are hoping the support from this campaign will help us accomplish the goals we have set.
