Come to Costco, you'll be looking for 'America'

Costco's decision on whether to shelf a conservative filmmaker's book has found the company shifting left and right.

Costco pulled Dinesh D'Souza's book "America" from shelves on July 1, a month after the book's release but now has reversed its decision, according to Fox News Insider. The book will return to shelves within two weeks.

"America" discusses American exceptionalism and attacks claims made by those on the far left. It also is a film, released July 1.

Costco claimed that its withdrawal had nothing to do with political reasons, but rather sales. "America," however, is No. 1 on Amazon.

Costco's co-founder and former CEO, Jim Sinegal, is a known supporter of President Barack Obama.
