Star-studded Nike ad gives Internet the chills

Now viral for the New York Yankees: Number 2, Derek Jeter, Number 2.

As Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter completes his 20th and final Major League Baseball season, teams and fans across the league are paying homage to the future hall-of-famer, but Nike's Jordan Brand may have the greatest tribute so far.

The company posted a new commercial to YouTube and its social media accounts Monday morning, featuring 23 celebrities, athletes and mascots tipping their hats to the Yankees' 40-year-old captain. The ad, part of Jordan's #RE2PECT campaign, immediately went viral, causing the hashtag to trend on Twitter in the U.S.
