RIVERHEAD, N.Y., July 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Suffolk Bancorp (the "Company") (Nasdaq:SUBK), parent company of Suffolk County National Bank (the "Bank"), announced that its Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its common stock. The dividend will be payable on August 27, 2014 to shareholders of record as of August 13, 2014. This cash dividend represents the first dividend the Company has paid since January 6, 2011. Based on the July 29, 2014 closing price of $20.89 per share, the annualized dividend yield on the Company's common stock would be 1.15%.
