What could spark a summer sell-off?

After last week's global rout which saw the S&P 500 post its worst weekly loss since 2012, sentiment remains shaky as traders focus on the whole list of situations that have been unnerving markets.

They include speculation on when the Federal Reserve may raise rates, Europe's economy, Argentina's default, tensions between Russia and Ukraine and the Israeli offensive into Gaza. At the same time, earnings season is in full swing on Wall Street, Europe and Asia.
