SEATTLE, Aug. 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Merchant Risk Council's (MRC) Fall Platinum Meetings are confirmed for Copenhagen, Denmark, Sep. 24-26, and Newport Beach, California, Oct. 6-8. These events are available to MRC's members as an opportunity to discuss the latest in ecommerce fraud and payments in an intimate setting with like-minded executives. These meetings will feature the unveiling of MRC's 2014 Global Payments Survey.
"MRC's Platinum Meetings are growing in demand every year, it is a great way for merchants to get involved and enhance policies which may be hindering their risk management processes," said Rossini Zumwalt, MRC Global Board Chair. "If you are not a member, there are many ways that merchants can benefit from the MRC's programs and keep current with the payments and fraud industry."
Both conferences will cover an array of topics, including credit card, gift card and reshipping fraud, account takeover, cryptocurrencies, international payments processing, as well as the best practices of 3D Secure. These topics will be discussed by many industry professionals from companies such as Google, Niemen Marcus, Riot Games, Skype and Square. The U.S. Platinum Meeting's early bird rates are set to close today, August 13.
