LONDON, Aug. 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Collabrium Japan Acquisition Corporation (Nasdaq:JACQ) (Nasdaq:JACQW) (Nasdaq:JACQU) ("Collabrium" or the "Company") today announced the results of its tender offer to purchase up to 1,346,041 of its ordinary shares at the tender offer price of $10.52619 per share. The tender offer expired at 11:00 a.m., New York City time, on August 22, 2014. Based upon information provided by Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the depositary for the tender offer, as of the expiration of the tender offer, a total of 979,633 ordinary shares were validly tendered and not properly withdrawn. All such ordinary shares were accepted for purchase, for a total purchase price of $10,311,803.09, excluding fees and expenses related to the tender offer. Such ordinary shares represent 26% of the Company's issued and outstanding ordinary shares as of August 22, 2014. Payment for the ordinary shares accepted for purchase will be made promptly.
