MONTREAL, QC, Sept. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In honour of Avon Canada's Centennial Anniversary, the Avon Foundation for Women has announced it will award a total of one million dollars in donations to breast cancer charities. Ten grants of $100,000 will be awarded to Canadian charitable organizations aiding and/or supporting those touched by breast cancer.
Charities will be awarded the funds in January 2015. To be considered for funding, registered Canadian breast cancer charities are invited to submit a proposal online at www.avon100.com by October 31, 2014.
