Brazilian designer Aline Darc Piculo dos Santos has won an award for her lingerie concept that illuminates when touched, thanks to microsensors built into the bras and underwear, the Daily Mail reported.

The lingerie, which is not yet in production, won the fashion and accessories competition in Swedish "intimate lifestyle" company LELO's Global UnDesign Awards. The winner, selected by popular vote, was awarded $1,000.

The designer of the illuminating lingerie told the Mail she hopes to bring the idea, called "Toque" (meaning "touch" in Portuguese), into production.

In May, the Mail reported on a lingerie collection from Cosabella that lights up after a few minutes of being exposed to sunlight.
